This review is for Both Jordan S and Josh H , They came to perform tests on our fire systems for our facility. After that I went to do my drum drips But as I was doing so I made a Huge mistake and caused the alarms to go off again, But Josh came to help me very fast, and he resolved it for me, and also explained to me why and how to do it properly. and he was actually in the middle of doing another job for another facility, but he stopped to come and solve this issue for me and the community. WOW! Jordan was able to show me and actually train me in areas i really needed to know. and as well Josh while he showed me the proper ways to do several other things too. I am amazed at their level of knowledge.

We have always used Silco for our inspections. Jason M. is the best always so helpfull. He always lets us know what he is doing and what we will need in the future. Will continue to use Silco for all our needs.

Brad Beck, a Silco Fire Extinguisher Technician, was able to efficiently check our fire extinguishers, pulling 7 that needed to be serviced, and giving us a loaner for each of those 7 extinguishers last Thursday. Brad returned today to replace the 7 fire extinguishers in an efficient manner.
His positivity and knowledge was a breath of fresh air.

This is one of those odd occurrences which most people probably will never have the need to utilize theses types of services much less interact with them in any way. I have to admit that it would be difficult if I were asked to compare or gauge the level of service, price structure or experiences service providers within their Industry. This can directly be attributed to our complete satisfaction with those provided by Silco. I personally have had the pleasure on three separate occasions over the past several years in which I can't say enough about the great customer service they we have received and that Silco apprantly strives to continually provide. Jordan and Drew came out to work on our sprinkler system. Both of them were very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job. I will defiantly use Silco again and would refer anyone to use them.

April 28th are sprinkler system had a default Quantin came out it worked on our sprinkler system and got the alarms to deactivate. Jordan also Very knowledgeable came out a few days later and helped showed the maintenance person on how to use the system if the problem would occur again. To deactivate the system until a staff person from their company to could get here. So quit going off and waking up the guess at the hotel.
Reading their employees with an A+ on customer service and knowledge of there systems. Thank you to both of their employees for all their help.

Silco was extremely responsive in terms of both pricing and onsite service. They did an excellent job coordinating with the jobsite in order to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Dave Weiland and Dan Bashlor are incredible! We own and operate and assisted living community in Wadsworth and Dave and Dan personally volunteered to come out on the Saturday before Easter to ensure our fire system stayed operational and our residents remained safe. Their selflessness meant a lot to us and our residents. Our community was looking into pursuing other fire protection companies, and if it wasn’t for Dave being as responsive, empathetic, and understanding of our situation as he was, we would not still be using Silco. I am not a person who leaves many reviews, but I was blown away by the professionalism and the amount Dave and Dan genuinely cared. Silco is extremely fortunate to have them both as employees and we look forward to working with them more in the future.

Our department needed our cascade bottles hydrotested, we called to have them picked up which was done on time. A short time later I received a call from Damian (sp) who had picked them up, and he told me that the vendor that was doing the testing said it would be a month before they could get them tested. We sent 4 bottles out to be tested and he offered to bring of them back since it was going to take longer than expected to get them in. Ultimately we decided to keep all 4 bottles together and have them tested at the same time. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of Damian and Silco in thinking about how this complication would affect our business. (The bottles were tested in about 2 weeks and brought back by Damian). Damian was polite, professional and very helpful throughout this whole process.

Hired Silco to do the full fire and alarm systems inspection for my church. They were very professional and answered all my questions during the inspection. Walked me through the process as they found deficiencies and were able to address several issues while still on site. The scheduling department was great in working with me to start the inspections as early as 6:30 and the billing department provided estimates on the additional issues they found within 30 mins. of the inspections. Great service and teamwork all the way around.

All interactions I have had with Silco has been amazing. We were having issues with out LiftMaster gate after someone ran into it and after calling ALL the numbers of "contractors" on LiftMasters website that service the units Silco was only 1 of 2 that still work on them. From the initial phone call the service was perfect. I left a message of what we needed and it must have been on the wrong voicemail because I received a call from PJ Trisket who listened to our problem and then had us set up in their system as a customer and a tech scheduled to come out the next morning all within a couple of hours. Wow, just wow. The next morning Ryan Stanford, the tech, showed up bright and early and in the cold rain. He listened to our issues and was so enthusiastic about the product. You don't meet people who are that passionate about their trade anymore, it was refreshing. While we had to do something in the time it took me to find a contractor we had one of the employees work on bending the arms back just to get us operational. Ryan expressed his praise in the work our employee had completed that there was only minimal that needed to be done once he arrived. But he was not disappointed and he shared his knowledge not only with me but also with our employee too. I asked him to give the unit a once over because it wasn't acting right from the original install and he did. He adjusted the settings and made sure everything was up and running as it should. Overall this has been the best customer service experience I have had in a very long time. What a breath of fresh air to meet not 1 but multiple people who you can tell just love where they work. Even a guy from another company that called me after Silco had already came out used to work for them and he didn't even have anything bad to say about the company. Actually his comment was "oh yeah, they will get you up and running for sure!" Silco is defiantly added to the list for future work. Thank you!

This review is on behalf of The M.K. Morse company. I can't say enough about how pleased i am with Silco. We have recently switched from one of the larger companies in our area due to inconsistencies in pricing and lack of follow through. In our first month with Silco we unfortunately had a fire in our manufacturing facility. We contacted David Weiland and he sent Dan Bashor immediately. dan arrived on site ready to work. This gentleman amazed me. He was VERY INFORMATIVE, VERY POLITE, VERY UNDERSTANDING of the urgency to get the system back to normal. We have a 500,000 sq ft manufacturing facility with many employees. going without our fire system isn't something we can do. I literally can not say enough about how pleased i am with Silco. David is very personable and easy to do business with. He has answered the phone or email anytime i have reached out to him which is a major factor when i decide whom i will do business with.

From the moment the Silco technician stepped through our doors, I knew our fire extinguishers were in for a treat. It was like watching a superhero team-up, but instead of capes and superpowers, there was a keen eye for safety and a toolkit ready for action.

The technician, whom I'll refer to as the "Extinguisher Whisperer," embarked on a quest through our premises with the grace of a gazelle, albeit one equipped with a clipboard and a purpose. Each fire extinguisher was meticulously inspected, with the care and attention I imagine a jeweler would give to the Crown Jewels. Those that were found wanting were either rejuvenated to their former glory with a refill or honorably retired, replaced by newer, shinier guardians ready to take up the mantle.

But it wasn't all serious business. The "Whisperer" regaled us with tales of fire extinguishers past, sprinkling in humor that had us chuckling as we learned more than we ever thought possible about fire safety. It was educational, entertaining, and exceptionally executed.

In a world where the importance of fire safety can often be overlooked, Silco and their awe-inspiring technician not only ensured our equipment was in top-notch condition but also left us with a lasting impression that safety can be fun, too. If laughter is the best medicine, Silco's service is the best preventive measure against fire hazards.

When Jim Rohlfs is here, he is always efficient in getting his work done. He has been coming here for around 30 years and is always clean cut, friendly, and quick to get his job finished. Everything is checked, and replaced where needed. It's always good to see his smiling face and we know the job will be done correctly.

I wasn’t looking to replace them but he charged the same price that I can buy them from Home Depot and he installed them at no charge!! That was a win / win in my book!! When my electronic gate malfunctioned I called Silco. I had always used a different company for any gate issues but they had closed down and Silco took over their client list. I was somewhat reluctant because I have never used this company before. I was quickly put at ease after talking with Travis at Silco! Just from my explanation of what my gate was doing he was able to pinpoint the issue! He sent technicians out to assess the problem and they explained in detail what the problem was that was causing the gate to malfunction. A part needed to be ordered but Travis wasn’t comfortable making us wait so he went above and beyond to locate the part asap! The technicians (knowledgeable, personable and professional!) had my gate up in running in no time!! The weather was terrible the day they repaired the gate, raining and snowing, I asked the technician if he’d rather wait until the weather cleared up but he said it was no problem at all! And the cost was very reasonable!! I highly recommend this company!! While I’m sorry a business closed, I’m very happy that Silco now handles their clients! They definitely go above and beyond in customer satisfaction! It was a pleasure doing business with them from the first phone call to the completion of the job!! They will have my business for any future issues!

This company is VERY GOOD to work with. Our sales person Mike is SUPER. Any questions we have ever had has been answered in a very few minutes. The Crew that did our new CCTV server and camera install was GREAT. Very on TASK and professional. Our old system consisted of 5 individual recorders. Having everything in 1 Server is SUPER. They also installed a new Access Control system for the campus, It is also VERY NICE. Our old one was outdated and parts had become difficult to obtain.

I think we will be working with Silco for many years to come!

We are currently remodeling an old restaurant/bar. After speaking with the local fire department we contacted Silco to request an evaluation of the building and what would be needed to bring it up to code. Elizabeth Chandler out of Columbus met with us and covered everything we would need. She was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. She provided a quote and made sure that every aspect was scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Thanks to Liz we feel confident that we will pass inspections and rest assured that our building and future patrons will be adequately protected. Thanks Liz!!
