Carbon Dioxide Suppression Systems:

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) has been used as a fire suppression agent for almost a century. CO2 suppresses a fire through oxygen depletion & cooling. CO2 is mostly used in industrial applications such as production lines, quench/dip tanks, industrial fryers, & numerous other applications.

High Pressure Carbon Dioxide Systems:

High pressure systems use individual storage cylinders from 35-120 lb. capacity each, that can be manifolded together for rapid simultaneous discharge. Cylinder valves can be opened automatically or manually, & either locally or remotely using electric, pneumatic or mechanical valve actuators. Download Brochure

‘Mini-Bulk’ Low Pressure CO2 Systems:

The Mini-Bulk system was developed to provide an alternative to manifolding high pressure cylinders. The tanks are configured vertically to save valuable floor space. In applications where floor loading is of concern, Mini-Bulk tanks offer a significant reduction in pounds per square feet (kg/m2) when compared to multiple high pressure cylinders with the same total CO2 capacity. Silco does an excellent job for our business, and has for the last eight years. When I call on our representative, Fred M. I know I can COUNT on him to take care of whatever we need 100%, as well as give us knowledgeable, fast and reliable service! Example: Yesterday I called with a problem/concern that we had to have have taken care of within the next three days...he was here 1st thing this morning and scheduled service for another branch of Silco that we use. We are extremely grateful to have Fred as our Fire safety expert and hope he is around at Silco for years to come! He truly makes you guys look good. Thank you!

Bobby Rutherford from Silco was an excellent Tech. Not only was he here on time, and explained what he was working on he also made sure I was fully covered for my upcoming fire inspection.I called in to have my annual fire suppression system inspection. Bobby checked the emergency lights (also installed 4 new lights I had bought), fire extinguishers, fire supressuppr system, and put his sticker on everything he touched and went through. I am confident the fire marshal will be impressed when he comes in. Lastly he went over the invoice in detail letting me know what I was paying for. I could not be happier with the service. Silco is the only company I will work with from now on.
