Types of Suppression Systems
Clean agents require no cleanup & are electrically nonconductive, environment friendly, extremely low in toxicity & exceptionally effective. Clean Agent Suppression Systems are used in Server Rooms, Telecommunications Rooms, Document Storage Areas, Control Rooms, Electronics Manufacturing, Museums, Art Galleries, Laboratories, & many other applications.
Carbon Dioxide Suppression Systems:
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) has been used as a fire suppression agent for almost a century. CO2 suppresses a fire through oxygen depletion & cooling. CO2 is mostly used in industrial applications such as production lines, quench/dip tanks, industrial fryers, & numerous other applications.
High Pressure Carbon Dioxide Systems:
High pressure systems use individual storage cylinders from 35-120 lb. capacity each, that can be manifolded together for rapid simultaneous discharge. Cylinder valves can be opened automatically or manually, & either locally or remotely using electric, pneumatic or mechanical valve actuators.
'Mini-Bulk' Low Pressure CO2 Systems:
The Mini-Bulk system was developed to provide an alternative to manifolding high pressure cylinders. The tanks are configured vertically to save valuable floor space. In applications where floor loading is of concern, Mini-Bulk tanks offer a significant reduction in pounds per square feet (kg/m2) when compared to multiple high pressure cylinders with the same total CO2 capacity.
Large Bulk-Storage CO2 Systems:
The ANSUL® PREFERRED Commercial Low Pressure CO2 Fire Suppression System is designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 12, St&ard on Carbon Dioxide Extinguishing Systems. The system consists of a low pressure storage unit, master valves, selector valves, manual & automatic controls, distribution nozzles, alarms, indicators, & supervisory devices as required...
Dry Chemical Suppression Systems:
Dry Chemical Suppression Systems are available in different configurations & chemicals for different applications. Common applications include paint spray booths, gas stations, flammable liquid storage, & various industrial hazards.
ANSUL® I-101™Industrial Fire Suppression System:
The I-101™Industrial Fire Suppression System has been pre-engineered for industrial hazards like paint spray booths, dip tanks, & flammable liquid storage rooms.
ANSUL® Large Dry Chemical "Piped" Systems:
For large industrial applications, ANSUL® large fixed nozzle piped systems provide up to 3000 lb (1350 kg) of dry chemical extinguishing agent..
Amerex® Industrial Fire Suppression Systems:
The Amerex Industrial Fire Suppression System has the first UL Listing allowing nozzles to be placed up to 23’-4” above the floor. Now you can protect large vehicle paint spray booths that are used for trucks & heavy equipment with a fully UL Listed system that has been specifically tested using live fires for this application.
Vehicle Suppression Systems
Fire destroys billions of dollars worth of industrial equipment every year. Yet many companies fail to properly protect their workers & industrial equipment from its damaging effect.
ANSUL® Vehicle Suppression Systems:
Equipping vehicles with the appropriate A-101, LVS & A-101/LVS Twin Agent Fire Suppression Systems is a smart investment in preventing costly repairs & replacement, keeping the insurance costs down, reducing downtime, & helping to prevent serious, life threatening injuries.
Amerex® Vehicle Suppression Systems:
Whether it is an operator sitting high atop a loader or your children riding in their school bus, Amerex Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems are designed first & foremost to protect human life. Amerex systems are designed & installed to suppress a fire quickly & efficiently before it can reach the operator or passenger areas.
Water Atomizing Suppression
The ANSUL® AQUASONIC™ Water-Atomizing Fire Suppression System is a revolution in Class B fire protection technology. A pair of supersonic atomizers can produce 1.5 trillion water droplets per second – equivalent to covering an Olympic-sized soccer field in one minute. The high performance fire suppression system is specifically engineered to protect special hazard applications including combustion turbine enclosures, machinery spaces, generator enclosures, & flammable liquid storage areas.
AQUASONIC® Water-Atomizing Fire Suppression Systems:
The AQUASONIC Fire Suppression System utilizes non-toxic & readily available extinguishing media (water & nitrogen). The dependable system has few moving parts & uses tested technology with decades of proven service.
Ansul Foam Suppression Systems:
Since 1939, ANSUL has led the fire suppression industry by continually creating innovations to provide better protection. ANSUL offers the widest selection of premium foam agents & equipment found anywhere.
