SECURITY
Installation & Maintenance
Silco’s Video Surveillance Engineers can assist you in designing a new surveillance system or upgrading your current system. We work with small businesses that need less than 10 cameras as well as large multi-site systems encompassing hundreds or even thousands of cameras. We help ensure the right camera is placed in the right location and is stored in the optimal DVR, NVR, network, Edge, or server configuration.
Cameras: Evolving Technology
IP vs Analog - Cost / Resolution
Technology has become more advanced allowing IP cameras to record in higher resolution with more options and scalability compared to the older analog style cameras. The standard 1080p IP camera has approximately 17,000 times the pixel density of the common analog camera and is comparable in cost. Do you need to read a license plate, or monitor across a large parking lot without sacrificing quality? IP cameras can do that!
High Resolution Cameras Limit Liability Claims
Adding cameras to the exterior or interior of your building provides many benefits. Can you tell if an injury was a real accident or a staged one? With recorded video review you can and avoid frivolous lawsuits. Monitor employee theft and reduce insurance costs, providing a safer work environment for your customers and employees.
Solar
Often there are areas that do not have power or network connectivity, such as a remote parking lot, a farm or being able to monitor vacant land or job sites. Silco has Wireless & Solar technologies that allow cameras to be placed anywhere.
