Fire Protection Services and Emergency Monitoring Services – Louisville, KY
In 2025, Fire Protection Services, Inc. (FPS) became part of the Silco family, further expanding our footprint in the greater Louisville area and strengthening our ability to serve regional and national customers with consistent, high-quality service. FPS brings decades of experience in inspection, installation and maintenance of fire alarm and suppression systems. FPS also operates Emergency Monitoring Services (EMS), a UL-listed central monitoring station providing 24/7 alarm monitoring and dispatch services.
Together, FPS and EMS extend Silco’s full range of protection offerings and deliver an even greater level of responsiveness and reliability to customers throughout Ohio and beyond.

In 2024, Fyr-Fyter joined Silco Fire & Security to enhance service coverage in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
