Our company worked with Silco on two commercial projects recently. The project manager, Terrell, assigned to our projects was terrific to work with. We really appreciated the great communication he provided during scheduling, work completion, and inspections for these projects. He was always quick to return our calls and always kept us updated on the work and inspections statuses. Overall a very professional experience from start to finish. We will definitely be using Silco again for future projects and will ask for Terrell.

Dontre is the tech that services our stores and he is super professional and always taking care of the needs of the stores.

Shady business practices across the board. We used them one time last year. A year later we received a bill. We paid for last year’s visit. Apparently they performed an annual inspection and were charging us for that. We didn’t schedule an appointment and we are not under contract with them. We reached out to them to find out why they were there and why we were being charged. We were told they do “stop by’s” when they have appointments in the area. Again, we asked about a scheduled appointment or contract. Again, there was none. After multiple email correspondences with multiple people we were told they would credit the account. They did not credit the account.

We got an email letting us know our bill was 30 days past due. I responded to the email letting them know who we spoke to and that the account should have been credited. I also asked not to be contacted about this again.

A couple weeks later, they charged the credit card we used to pay for services rendered the previous year. After two transfers and a voicemail later I still had no answers. I did get a call back fairly quickly. From there it was one lie after another.

First lie:
She can’t see a payment from us so we never got charged. When I told her I could see the payment on the computer screen she again claimed they didn’t charge us.

Second lie:
She now knows we were charged, but it was just pending. Again, I can see it was processed and the money is gone from my account.

Third lie:
It’s our fault because we have “automatic payments” set up. I said that wasn’t possible because there is no contract. Also, we would have gotten a receipt instead of a bill.

Fourth lie:
They charged the card, but then voided the transaction on the 9th. That story doesn’t stick because we were billed on the 12th.

Finally she went back to her initial lie and refused to offer any assistance.

We were forced into disputing it with our credit card company. We forwarded the email from Silco that said they would credit the account and within the hour they reversed the transaction. But, we temporarily don’t have one of our credit cards because of the fraudulent charge.

Company has made our yearly inspections smooth and Colton Smith has made it very easy to work with. Fast and efficient. Highly recommend.

Called today with a battery issue on an emergency light. Tami and her guys, Derek and Jimmy, fixed my issue within half an hour. Derek and Jimmy were professional and quick, a pleasure to have in the office.

J Sands called in early morning of 8/31/25. Found issues with water in strobe and pull station. Replaced with new and reset system. Troubleshooting and got our system back in running status. Worked very well with us got us back up working alarm service

I attended a training course at Silco Fire and security for fire department training. The course was very informative, and exceeded my expectations. I feel more confident in fire alarm systems , and sprinkler systems. Our instructor did an Amazing job. I highly recommend.

I took a fire alarm and sprinkler system training class at Silco through my fire department and learned a great deal of valuable information. The trainer, Heath McNamee, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire class. I will be going back to work with a much greater knowledge of these systems. I definitely recommend this class.
